This JoSAA college predictor shows every IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI seat you can get, your chance for each one, and the order to fill them on the JoSAA portal. Enter your JEE Main rank, JEE Advanced rank, or both.
JoSAA takes one choice list for IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs together. We check IITs with your Advanced rank, the rest with your Main rank, and merge them into one list.
We'll send JoSAA 2027 dates and round reminders on WhatsApp. No spam.

To take any of these seats you also need 75% in Class 12 (65% for SC, ST and PwD) or a place in your board's top 20 percentile. The list follows the 2026 seat matrix; new 2027 institutes and branches are added when JoSAA publishes the 2027 seat matrix. B.Arch and B.Planning outside the IITs use the Paper 2 rank, so they aren't included.
JoSAA Premium includes the Smart List, a one-on-one review of your list by Er Deepak Kumar, our counselling expert, guided by MS Salim Sir (IIT BHU), and WhatsApp support through every JoSAA and CSAB round. Only 40 seats. See Premium →

Against 2025 cutoffs, IIT Delhi Mechanical closed at AIR 1,862, so his rank made it a Reach choice. In 2026 it closed at 2,131 in Round 1 and he got the seat. That's why Reach choices belong at the top of your list: about a third of them come through.
Give the JoSAA college predictor your JEE Main rank, JEE Advanced rank or both, with your category, gender and home state. IITs and IISc are checked with your Advanced rank and the rest with your Main rank, all in one list.
The JoSAA college predictor checks every institute, branch, category, quota, gender and PwD seat in the official JoSAA tables. Your chance comes from the tougher of the 2025 and 2026 closing ranks, with 2024 shown for context.
The JoSAA college predictor puts Reach first, then Likely, then Safe, so you never lose a better seat to a lower choice. Your branch priority and preferred cities come first inside each group.
Move or remove any choice, then download it for Excel or print it. Copy it into the JoSAA portal in the same order. Rebuild it as often as you like until November 2027.
Most college predictors compare your rank with last year's closing rank and stop there. We built our JoSAA college predictor the way a careful counsellor works, then tested it on four years of real JoSAA results before offering it to you.
We hid the 2025 and 2026 results, predicted them from earlier years, then checked what actually happened to nearly 21,000 seats and 1,600 simulated students across every category.
Every student in our test got a seat from their Smart List.
Your backup seats. Almost certain.
The chances we showed matched the real results within 1 point.
A Reach choice is your chance to move up. JoSAA always gives you the highest choice on your list that your rank can get, so a Reach choice that doesn't come through costs you nothing: your Likely and Safe choices are still waiting below it. Skip your Reach choices and you give up those seats for nothing. Ishaan's IIT Delhi seat was a Reach choice.
We checked this JoSAA college predictor against official JoSAA results from 2023 to 2026, and we publish the numbers. Most predictors show no test at all.
Cutoffs often bounce back after a year of moving. So we compare your rank with the tougher of the last two closing ranks, which made Safe predictions more reliable than using last year alone.
See the 2026, 2025 and 2024 closing ranks side by side, so you can judge the trend for each seat yourself.
Seats that swing a lot from year to year (PwD seats, or seats closing under 1,000) and new seats with one year of data are flagged, and called Safe only when your rank is far inside the closing rank.
CRL rank for open seats, category rank for category seats, PwD ranks for PwD seats, female-only seats for girls, Home State or Other State quota from your state, and the Goa, J&K and Ladakh quotas.
Have both ranks? Enter both. IITs and IISc are checked with your JEE Advanced rank, the rest with your JEE Main rank, in one list, just like the JoSAA portal.
Reach first, then Likely, then Safe, so you never lose a better seat to a lower choice. Within each group, your branch and city preferences come first.
Tap branches in the order you want. Add cities or states and put them first, or show only those.
Even a short list keeps enough Safe choices, and we warn you if you have fewer than 10.
Every number is from the official JoSAA tables: all 2026 rounds plus the final rounds of 2023, 2024 and 2025. 138 institutes, 13,292 seat rows. Nothing estimated.
Before every update, we test the JoSAA college predictor against 443 real seats from the official tables, covering every category, quota, gender and PwD seat type.
With Premium, Er Deepak Kumar, our counselling expert, reviews your list one-on-one, guided by MS Salim Sir (IIT BHU).

A JoSAA college predictor compares your JEE rank with official JoSAA opening and closing ranks to show which IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI seats you can get. Ours also gives your chance for each seat and puts them in the order to fill on the JoSAA portal.
We tested it on official JoSAA results from 2023 to 2026, nearly 21,000 seat results. In our test every simulated student got a seat from their list, Safe choices came true 98% of the time, and every chance we showed matched the real result within 1 point. Reach choices are your real shot at a better college, and they cost you nothing because your Likely and Safe choices stay below them.
